The NudemeNFT is a collection of unique interactive arts living on the Ethereum blockchain. Only 911 were minted before the public sale was paused permanently on November 1, 2021. Each artwork (NFT) is made up of 1 to 2,500 programmed Nudemen, relentlessly forming a pattern, an image or a message chosen from hundreds of curated visuals.
On-chain Metadata
When you buy (mint) a NudemeNFT token, a unique set of traits (metadata) will be generated based on a block hash combined with your token ID. These traits will be stored on the Ethereum blockchain immutably. They are like the DNA of your Nudemen, which determines their personality, quantity, formation, and behaviour (such as how fast they move and even how hesitant they are to visualize the art that they represent).
Viewing the Artwork
After minting your token, your artwork will begin to exist on OpenSea. You can view and interact with it in any modern browser that supports Javascript (p5.js). The program to render and display the artwork is hosted permanently on a decentralized file system (IPFS). The image on OpenSea will be updated after the token is minted. Nudemen love bigger spaces, so they are best viewed on larger screens.

10 tokens (#1 - #10) were minted at contract deployment and are being withheld for the artist and team. 40 more tokens were minted afterwards for promotional purposes. These tokens were generated randomly on the blockchain based on the same algorithm as the others.

About The Nudemen
The Nudemen Series is an ongoing art project by Francis Lam that aims to raise sociological questions in the post-Internet era. The project was originally inspired and created to counterbalance the overwhelming ubiquity of female nudity throughout the Internet (Nudemessenger, 2003). The series has taken a utopian approach to depict technology, culture and reality in different forms and media.
The Nudemen Series has been awarded and exhibited by Ars Electronica, Japan Media Arts Festival, New Vision Arts Festival, CreativeApplications and others, and was Featured on the Apple App Store .
